Program Summary

Aquamatrix is a hands-on project-based experience where teams design and build a functional liquid delivery system that simulates a county water network. Using pumps, tubing, and containers, students solve real-world engineering challenges while developing teamwork, problem-solving, and communication skills.

The experience emphasizes resource management, design thinking, and operational efficiency.

  • Group Size: 10-25 participants

  • Location: Indoors

  • Duration: 2-3 hours

In this activity, students explore the functionality of a basic pump system by observing how its components connect and interact. They are then challenged to construct a Linear to Dynamic system capable of delivering specific colored liquids to designated locations within a matrix container grid.
