Daily weather determines the required resource card submission for every active team on the board.
Sunny & Cool
Rainy & Wet
Arctic Blast
The standard travel condition. Teams hand over exactly ONE Supply Card and ONE Fuel Card at the end of each two-minute cycle.
Rain turns the Low Country Trail into heavy mud. Teams traversing this trail consume additional Fuel Cards to maintain movement.
Severe cold forces heavy resource expenditure. Teams must surrender 2 Supply Cards and 4 Fuel Cards for each day spent in this weather.

Shelter & Mine Access Protocols
Shelter is required strictly on days when teams enter the mine to extract Gold. Because vehicles cannot access the mountain terrain, teams rely on portable shelter.
Before granting a team a Gold Card, collect one valid Shelter item: either a Tent Card from their Grub Stake or a Cave Card earned through the Mine Video.

Apache Junction Return
Display the weather condition at the start of the day. Every team operates under identical time parameters.
Issue an Expedition Leader warning when exactly 30 seconds remain in the daily trading window.
Upon returning to Apache Junction, teams conclude their journey. Issue Final Inventory Forms and stop card collection.
Receive designated resource cards from team Traders, marking movement vectors on the master tracking map.
Ensure team maps, card decks, and weather indicator slides are prepared prior to launch.
